Dr. Rajendra Prasad was an Indian politician who was born on December 3rd, 1884, in the Bihar area. He was a brilliant scholar from his infancy since his father was a great scholar in Sanskrit and many other languages, and his mother was a devout lady who used to tell him tales. As a result of his father’s intellect and his mother’s stories, he grew up to be a great thinker.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was born while India was under British control, and he assisted Indian leaders in freeing our country from the British. After independence, Dr. Rajendra Prasad served as the first President of our country, serving from 1950 to 1962.
His Early Years And Professional Career
He was a brilliant scholar from his infancy, and his parents helped him by teaching him and sending him to several schools so that he could study a variety of languages. After that, he finished his schooling, and at the age of 12, he married Rajalakshmi Devi. He was a brilliant scholar, and he and his brother studied for two years at the Academy in Patna, where he received a scholarship and Rs 30 per month, before pursuing his F.A. at the University of Calcutta. He was not through with his studies after obtaining FA; he went on to get his M.A. in economics.

He quit teaching in the midst of his career to concentrate on his studies in law, and he earned a doctorate in law from Allahabad University before joining the Bihar High Court in 1916. He joined the Indian National Congress, met Mahatma Gandhi, and assisted in the Champaran and noncooperation movements while pursuing his legal education.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad supported Mahatma Gandhi in all of his activities, and he authored numerous revolutionary essays throughout the course of his independence struggle. In the year 1914, Bihar was hit by a massive flood, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad assisted many people who were afflicted by the storm.
His Death
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was chosen the first President of our Indian Republic after the country’s independence was declared. During his presidency, he did an excellent job of laying the foundations of our country, and he followed the constitution to the letter.
